Taste Kildare - Food & Craft Festival at The K Club
Sunday 22nd of August from 12 noon until 5pm
A day of fabulous food friends and family fun taking place in the Victorian walled garden of The K Club, Straffan, Co. Kildare
Chat with the producers of food and craft and meet the county’s top chefs at this day of family fun. As children squeal with glee while they enjoy Bouncing Castles, Clowns, Fishing, Horse riding and face painting , the adults bet on “Duck Race” on The River Liffey, enjoy Wine Cellar & Art Tours, Cookery Demonstrations or just sit back at the bar and relax to Live Music
All proceeds from a monster raffle & moneys raised on the day will all go towards Enable Ireland Kildare which provide essential services to 160 children with disabilities from their new centre in Naas. Services for children and families include essential therapies such as physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy in conjunction with social work, psychology and home support services. Parent’s support groups, sibling groups, advice and information are also available.
TASTE KILDARE will include a week-long celebration of Dining, Tours & Local flavours. Starting on Monday 16th August - Sunday 22nd
The week will include county wide tastings, free tours and demonstrations from the farms and workshops of participating Food & Craft producers such as What's Cooking?, Derrynine Candles, Straight Sausages Ltd, Daisy Chain Cupcakes, Missy Moo's Ice Cream, Just Bead it Design & ChocOneill & Castlefarm Shop
“Dine for €35” Participating restaurants such as The Westgrove Hotel, Chapter 16 at Silken Thomas, The K Club, Mash @ The Osprey Hotel& Spa, Indie Spice Naas, La Serre Restaurant at the Village at Lyons Estate, Palmerstown House, Vie De Châteaux will also offer a week long special with a TASTE KILDARE Menu.
